A 5-week online support group for people navigating the long tail of recovery after leaving a high-control or cultic church, group, or spiritually abusive faith community.

This group is for you if:

  • You've left but you're still carrying the weight of what happened

  • You're struggling with identity, shame, or grief months or years after exit

  • You feel stuck between who you were and who you're becoming

  • You're navigating family estrangement, shunning, or ongoing pressure to return

  • You need community with people who understand the long, messy work of recovery

What We’ll Cover

Built around the AFTER framework from the book After The Exit: The Long Tail of Coercive Control, this group walks through:

  • Acknowledging what happened and naming the harm

  • Facing the grief, shame, and loss that came with leaving

  • Trusting yourself again after years of being told what to think and believe

  • Exiting the internal control patterns that outlast the group

  • Rebuilding identity, relationships, and life on your own terms
