Holy Hell Support Group
A 6-week online support group for people who were harmed by or grew up in Pentecostal or charismatic churches and are navigating the aftermath of that experience.
This group is for you if:
You grew up Pentecostal or charismatic and you're realising how much it shaped (or damaged) you
You experienced harm in a church that emphasised spiritual warfare, prophecy, deliverance, or the prosperity gospel
You're deconstructing beliefs about demon possession, spiritual attack, divine healing, or speaking in tongues
You're trying to untangle what was genuine spiritual experience from what was manufactured or manipulated
You need community with people who understand the specific dynamics of Pentecostal and charismatic control
What We Will Cover
Built around themes from Holy Hell: Saved So Hard I Needed Therapy, this group explores:
The unique control tactics in Pentecostal and charismatic spaces (spiritual warfare language, prophetic manipulation, deliverance abuse)
Fear-based teachings: hell, the rapture, demons, and spiritual attack
The performance pressure of charismatic worship and "being on fire for God"
Prosperity gospel, seed faith, and financial manipulation
Processing experiences with tongues, prophecy, and deliverance ministry
Rebuilding identity and community
